You can collaborate with colleagues within a tender. You can also determine who gets which roles and rights.

Add colleagues

When you start a tender, you are automatically the only member within the tender. You are the lead buyer, which means that you own all the rights.

Mercell Source-To-Contract sets up three roles as standard: Lead buyers, Evaluators and Viewers. Behind each role is a set of rights. This way you can create different roles and assign colleagues to them. To add colleagues to one of the existing roles, click Add colleague in one of the groups. You can choose from colleagues registered in your organization.

Create a new role

You can create your own role with the associated rights. To do this, click Create role at the top right. You will see a pop-up appear in which you can give the role a name and indicate which rights are linked to this role. Please note: The first category of rights requires a license.

Partner organizations

People who do not work in your organization can be added under Partner organization using their email address.
You cannot convert a user added as a Partner organization to a contact person in a tender. This is only possible if a user has a colleague profile within the organization.
By adding people through partner organizations, they can work under the Mercell license of their own organization.

How do I add a person, as a colleague or partner organization?

If someone is not going to make any adjustments to the tender, but only watches or assesses, then always add this under partner organization.
If someone is going to make adjustments to the tender and he/she has a Mercell License in their own organization, add them under partner organization.
When someone is going to make adjustments to the tender, but does not have their own Mercell account or Mercell license. Then ask your administrator to add them as colleagues, and add them as a “normal” colleague in the tender, and not as a partner organization. Please note that this allows a user to have more rights if these are enabled for all colleagues in the User rights tab.
