Accessing User Activity Log
This guide will help you access and understand the user activity log, which provides an overview of user actions following a successful login. You can track various activities such as account creation, updates, and login history.
Note: To check user activity, you need to be logged in as the Organisation administrator.
Go to ‘Settings’ on the left sidebar menu.
Click on ‘User management’.
Scroll through the list to locate the user you want to check. If the user list is extensive, use the search bar at the top to quickly find the user by entering their name or email address.
Once you have found the user, click on the three dots icon on the right-hand side.
Select Edit from the dropdown menu to access the user’s profile settings.
You will see the General Profile area and on the right-hand side, there will be a card labeled Activity Log.
The activity log provides an overview of the following key information:
User Created: Displays the date and time when the user account was initially created.
User Updated: This section records any updates made to the user profile, including changes to user information or permissions.
Last Login: Shows the most recent date and time the user logged into the system.
Last Activity: Provides details about the latest actions taken by the user after logging in, helping to monitor user engagement.
Tips:
Regularly check the activity log to stay informed about user activities and ensure account security.
Use the activity log to identify any issues related to account access or to investigate unusual activities.
Maintain an audit trail of user interactions by referring to the activity log, which can be useful for compliance and reporting purposes.
