Notifications (Sourcing)

This article only applies to Sourcing

Requires admin permissions

The organization can create, edit, and remove notifications that appear on the front page for its users. Administrators have the ability to manage these notifications, including publishing, editing, archiving, and deleting them. Basic users can only view notifications that have been published or archived.

Add new notification

  • Click “Add new”

  • Fill in form fields

    • Date

    • Valid from

    • Valid until

    • Enter the notification title and text in the fields for your local language and English.

    • If desired, you can add an attachment to the bulletin.

    • Select publication target(s)

      • The Supplier Portal

      • Sourcing home page 

    • The announcements are displayed on the Mercell Sourcing homepage if the user has selected the organization's announcements widget for the homepage. 

  • To save as a draft, click “Save”

  • To save and publish, click “Save and publish”

Edit notification

To edit a notification, click the gear-icon on the right side of the particular notification.

  • “Remove notifications from active notifications”

    • Removes the notification from visible locations and archives it.

  • “Create new based on this”

    • Creates a copy of the notification

  • “Save and publish”

    • Saves and publishes any edits made to the notification

Delete notification

To delete the notification, click the red cross mark on the right side of the particular notification.
